WEDNESDAY: FEBRUARY 29 2012

Has anyone found Lamar Odom yet?  I have a theory.

It's all a sham.  Not a Brad, but a sham.  *DISCLAIMER*  I'm not sure if I actually believe this, but i'm throwing it out there.  The Khloe and Lam Lam show on E! needed content for future episodes.  This was kind of an under the table agreement.  Two games before the All-Star Break, and the following two games after the All-Star Break equals about two weeks.  Two weeks of doing anything they needed to do for the show.

They could go to France, attend an LA Kings game (yeah right), watch TV on their sweater, or do something with Kim.  All of these things are really difficult to do during this compacted NBA season.  They need content, so there's two weeks to film as much as you can.

The show also needs drama.  This is a perfect time for Khloe to cry, and talk about how it's stressing her out that Lamar has been so "depressed".  The word is "depressed" or "depression".  Those are huge terms when it comes to dramatic (scripted) reality television.  That gives time for them to explore so many storylines that will end up with Khloe crying on the camera.  You can throw in the dad thing, or the "I miss LA" story, or whatever you need to do.  It's not the Khloe show though, it's the Khloe and Lamar show and they needed the blacker half of that couple to stop down and give them some camera time.

I know some people will say i'm crazy, and to that I say read the disclaimer.  All of this can be debunked really easily and I understand that, but I don't think it's absurd to think that the TV show might have at least a small role in his disappearance.

DO YOU REMEMBER JA RULE?
Rapper Ja Rule is 9 years old today.  Happy birthday Ja!  He's the oldest looking 9 year old i've ever seen.

SNL MUSICAL GUESTS
On the last three "new" episodes of Saturday Night Live, they've had 3 musical guests who have become extremely popular in the hipster/indie/internet culture, but aren't necessarily that talented or appealing to a widespread audience.  Lana Del Rey is awful and her performance on SNL speaks for itself.  Karmin was next, and I had never heard of them, but it was extremely terrible.  Sleigh Bells was next a couple weeks ago.  Sleigh Bells is no dobut the most popular of the three, and i'm familiar with there work only because they have been forced into the Indie Rock genre.  I think they suck, but obviously somebody sees something in them.

SNL has always done a great job of mixing up and coming artists with known commodity's.  This week they go with Jack White.  Finally someone who is actually talented.  Someone who makes real music that isn't tainted with drum machines and beats formed on a macbook.

I guess what i'm saying is, I'm not sure if SNL knew what it was asking for when it booked Lana Del Rey, Karmin, and The Sleigh Bells.  I feel like they didn't understand they were booking turds.  Internet/YouTube hype is different than touring the region hype, and I think it's important to realize that and tap the brakes on all of these acts that aren't that established.

I'm out of material.
